Must read

Iconic coffee chain Starbucks has revealed details of its expansion into WA, announcing its first three locations will be open before Christmas.

Piara Waters, Clarkson and Murdoch will be home to the State’s first Starbucks and are all set to start welcoming coffee lovers before the end of the year.

Another nine cafes — including venues in Hammond Park, Butler and Bayswater — are set to open early next year.

The stores will be drive-through but will have a seating area in the cafe for those wanting to dine in.

The menus will offer everything from a standard flat white to Starbucks’ iconic Caramel Macchiato, Frappuccinos or refreshers. As well as their well-known drinks, the stores will offer fresh food including toasties, cakes, doughnuts, salads and pastries.

Starbucks Coffee Australia chair Michael Smith said the drive-through locations are designed to conveniently provide premium coffee.

“Western Australians have long asked us to expand into their great state, and we know our convenient drive-thru locations will deliver on our unique co;ee culture and convenience to Perth and surrounds,” Mr Smith said.
