The Lindenwood football program has announced the launch of the 1st and Gold Club. The club is designed to help enhance the current and future structure of Lindenwood football.
“We are excited to launch this new initiative to support Coach Stugart and our football program,” said Vice President of Intercollegiate Athletics Jason Coomer. “We have had a number of individuals reach out asking how they can help, and this club will serve as the official booster group of Lindenwood Football. External support is critical to the success of the program, and every dollar raised through this club will go to support Coach Stugart and the young men inside the lock room. Championship programs need championship minded supporters, and we are fortunate to have that here at Lindenwood.”
What is the 1st and Gold Club?
The 1st & Gold Club was founded to create a financial catalyst for Lindenwood football. The 1st & Gold Club will help LU football secure the financial resources necessary to compete at the DI level. The 1st & Gold Club assists the football program in areas where traditional funding falls short. The most evident needs for the program include facility enhancements, nutrition stations, assistance with travel and advancements in training technology.
How Membership Works?
- Membership is based on a 12-month period in conjunction with the university’s fiscal year. Each membership year will begin on July 1 and expire on June 30.
- Your membership gift may be pledged over a 12-month period to make contributing more convenient.
- Members can make monthly, quarterly, semi-annual or annual payments. By meeting this important date, your gift will go to work in supporting our student-athletes in the upcoming season.
- Members in the 1st & Gold Club give $500 or more annually to Lindenwood Football. By supporting this program, you can play a vital role in helping the team achieve new goals each year.
Please note that receiving renewals prior to the June 30 deadline is crucial to the financial budget for the upcoming season. It helps us determine what funds are available as we compete at the #NewLevel.
