Former Melbourne Storm and Sydney Roosters star Cooper Cronk has become involved in a spat with his neighbour over a renovation.
Cronk and his TV celebrity wife Tara Rushton live in an extravagant house on Sydney’s lower north shore in Georges Heights.
But they are unhappy with their neighbour’s $3.7 million renovation plan and have taken their complaint to Mosman Council.

Cronk and Rushton say the multimillion-dollar renovation will invade their privacy.
They also believe the upgrade will allow their neighbours to see directly into their children’s rooms.
“Privacy is a two-way thing and I’m sure they also will not want our young children staring straight into their living areas from their bedrooms,” Cronk said in his complaint to the council.
“We note the design of the house orients the doors and windows of the kitchen and dining and living areas on the upper floor to face directly into our property.”
There have been just two complaints to the plans, but both focus on privacy.
There is another issue about a possible cut to power, however.
“We understand there will be an inconvenience to our home’s operation in the execution of these works,” Cronk said.
“My wife and I both work from home to non-negotiable deadlines and we need our power to be available.”
Cronk, whose playing days ended at the end of 2019, is now a commentator for Fox Sports.
He also has a role with a finance firm.
Rushton is a football presenter and works for Network 10.
A swimming pool and an outdoor deck are part of their neighbour’s proposal which is, reportedly, set to be approved.
However, some changes have been made to the original vision following Cronk’s complaints.
Cronk and Rushton married in 2017 and have two children.
The bought their lavish Georges Heights home in 2022 for a reported $8.75million.
In 2019 they splurged on a $900,000 renovation on their previous home, which was also approved by Mosman Council.
