Former Minnesota Vikings and Dallas Cowboys linebacker Anthony Barr’s Los Angeles home was ransacked by thieves on Friday, according to reports.
TMZ Sports claims Barr, who is currently a free agent after his recent spell with the Vikings, was not in the property when three men smashed through a rear window and burglarized it at around 2am Friday.
Security cameras are believed to have caught the thieves in action before the police were notified, only for cops to discover the thieves had made their escape by the time they arrived.
It is unclear what was stolen in the heist, while no arrests have been made as of yet with an investigation ongoing.
Barr is one of several high-profile figures to be burgled in LA of late, along with American actor and comedian Marlon Wayans and former NBA star Paul Pierce.

The 32-year-old has spent nine years in the NFL after enjoying an impressive college career at UCLA, before he was selected with the ninth overall pick at the 2014 Draft by the Vikings.
He spent eight seasons in Minnesota the first time around, making 98 appearances and earning four Pro-Bowl selections from 2015-18.
After being released in 2022, Barr signed as a free agent with the Dallas Cowboys, where he wasn’t re-signed after his first and only season was marred by injuries.
The Indiana-born player returned to Minnesota on its practice squad back in November and was signed to the active roster a month later, only to leave for a second time after failing to make an appearance.
It remains to be seen if Barr is picked up by a new team ahead of the 2024-25 campaign, with the Green Bay Packers rumored to be eyeing the ex-Vikings man this offseason.
