FSU in College Football 25: Player and team ratings, Top 25 ranking, Doak Campbell Stadium entrance and gameplay footage

Must read

For the first time since 2012 — and first time ever featuring actual player likenesses — there’s a college football video game for the masses to enjoy.

EA Sports’ College Football 25 was released today for those with early access, granting fans of the one-time NCAA Football franchise a way to enjoy simulated college football in every fashion imaginable.

The game has Florida State as the No. 12 team in the country (88 overall rating), with the No. 22 offense (83 rating) and No. 11 defense (88 rating), as well as rating Doak Campbell Stadium as the No. 9 toughest place to play. Interestingly, the game has FSU as the No. 11 team in the country in its “Top 25,” which differs from its overall rankings for a few times (ex: Clemson is rated as the No. 9 overall team but is ranked No. 17 in the game).

(If you want another bragging point and reason to get excited to justify dropping money on the game, principal game designer Ben Haumiller is a Florida State alum.)

Here’s what it looks like when FSU is playing at home in Doak Cambell Stadium:

And just for fun, a randomly generated, simulated and CPU-controlled matchup vs. the Texas Longhorns showing you what it looks like when Florida State wins the national championship:
