Athletes around the world are kicking their Paris 2024 qualification campaigns into high gear as we enter the Olympic year.
In golf, qualification is determined by a ranking. Golf qualification for the Olympic Games Paris 2024 is limited to 60 men’s and 60 women’s players through the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR).
The top 15 players on the OWGR are eligible for the Olympic Games, up to a maximum of four golfers from a single country.
After the top 15, the Olympic Golf Rankings (OGR) consist of up to the top two eligible players per country, as long as that country does not already have at least two players in the top 15.
The ranking cutoff dates are 17 June 2024 for the men and 24 June 2024 for the women.
As National Olympic Committees have the exclusive authority for the representation of their respective countries at the Olympic Games, athletes’ participation at the Paris Games depends on their NOC selecting them to represent their delegation at Paris 2024.
