Heartbroken father reveals details about MAFS star’s death

Must read

More details have surfaced about the events leading up to the death of Married at First Sight New Zealand contestant Andew Jury last Thursday.

Andrew’s father, Ron Jury, told The New Zealand Herald his son was on remand at Mt Eden Corrections Facility at the time of his death.

The former reality star passed away just hours before a scheduled court appearance after medical and emergency staff did all they could to try and save him.

Andrew, 33, was facing charges including “assault with intent to injure, willful damage and possession of an offensive weapon.”

Roy added that his son was “struggling” in prison after he was arrested on April 2.

“It should have been a red flag when Andy stopped communicating with family and friends,” he told the outlet.
