Heathrow Express has launched a limited-time offer that will make travelling on its services more affordable for customers this summer.
The operator has made 25,000 single tickets available for just £10 each over August.
It said that the special offer would allow travellers to enjoy a return trip for just £20 – adding that families in particular could benefit from the deal, as children aged 15 and under continue to travel free. This means a family of five, with two parents and three children, could travel one-way for only £20, or enjoy a return journey for just £40.
Mark Eastwood, Commercial Strategy Lead at Heathrow Express, commented: “As we approach the summer holidays, we are excited to share this great offer and key travel tips with our passengers. We encourage everyone to book quickly, securing one of the 25,000 tickets available during August.”
The operator (which offers a premium, non-stop train service between London Paddington and Heathrow) has also released five ‘top tips’ for having a smooth journey this summer:

• Check travel advisories and health information. - Book tours and attractions in advance:
• Research and plan the main attractions you want to visit.
• Book them in advance to get the best rates and availability. - Prepare your documents:
• Ensure your passport is up-to-date and has at least six months of validity.
• Make copies of important documents (passport, visa, travel insurance, itinerary) and keep them separate from the originals. - Stay connected:
• Have a backup plan for internet access (international SIM card, portable Wi-Fi).
• Share your travel itinerary with a trusted friend or family member. - Transportation:
• Familiarise yourself with local transport options.
• Keep a map or download offline maps for navigation.
