LIV Golf’s first Nashville event begins Friday at The Grove, and spectators looking to follow 2024 U.S. Open champion Bryson DeChambeau, or last year’s Masters champion Jon Rahm, will realize the format is unlike other professional men’s golf tournaments.
LIV Golf tournaments feature a shotgun start, meaning every player begins at the same time but on different holes across the course.
So, if you want to find Phil Mickelson or Cam Smith, or other major LIV stars, you’ll need to know their starting holes and who is paired together.
Round 1 begins at 12:15 p.m. Friday with groupings selected by LIV. For Rounds 2 and 3, the individual leaders are grouped together with the top three players teeing off on hole No. 1.
