A man who was already in custody has now been charged with an array of offences relating to the alleged abduction, drugging and sexual assault of a woman in April.
The charges were laid against the 37-year-old man on Monday at Silverwater Correctional Centre.
A 29-year-old Victorian man was extradited to NSW last month to be charged over the same incident.
The 36-year-old woman was allegedly forced into a Toyota Camry at Epping, in Sydney‘s north-west, at 6.45pm on April 20.
Officers found the woman at a different address the next day at 1pm where she told them that she had been drugged and sexually assaulted.
She was immediately taken to hospital for treatment.
The 37-year-old suspect has been charged with: take/detain in company with intent to ransom, occasion aggravated bodily harm, assault person intend criminal activity of criminal group.
The additional charges were: aggravated sexual assault in company and deprive liberty, use intoxicating substance to commit indictable offence, intentionally record intimate image without consent and threaten to distribute intimate image without consent.
The man was listed to appear before Parramatta Local Court on Tuesday.
