Princes Anne has long been known for her hard work and efforts to be as down to earth as possible.
That quality is typified by her love for recycling outfits, rather than splurging on new ones.
But her daughter Zara Tindall, 43, has regularly proved that the apple hasn’t fallen far from the tree.
She has been spotted numerous times skilfully re-wearing the same dresses, coats and even sandals – as these pictures show.
Cream Dress
Beautifully elegant for the Buckingham Palace Garden party last month, Zara Tindall cut a fabulous figure in her Laura Green London dress.
The ‘Isobel’ outfit featured pretty pink buttons which perfectly matched her Sarah Cant Millinery boater hat and Emmy shoes.
Zara last wore the satin-finish frock with puff sleeves and belted waist at Ascot in 2022.
On this occasion, it had fuchsia buttons that co-ordinated with the rose atop her Justine Bradley-Hill hat and Karen Millen pumps.
Striped dress
Zara stepped out at Wimbledon last year wearing a striped maxi shirt dress from Me + Em.
She gave the button up piece a summery spin with a Jess Collett Panama hat, Saint Laurent espadrille wedges and an Aspinal of London raffia bag.
Six months later at the Pacific Fair shopping centre in Australia she dressed it down with a different Aspinal of London crossbody bag and a pair of white trainers.
White Dress
At Wimbledon in 2022, Zara stepped out in a Ralph Lauren linen shirt dress accessorised with black Castañer wedges and an Aspinal of London quilted bag.
Later in the year, the royal travelled Down Under once again as her husband Mike competed in I’m A Celebrity.
She took her chic summer dress with her but this time swapped out the black accents for more casual Veja trainers and AM Eyewear pink sunglasses, which were the perfect additions for the Australian sunshine.
Grey Herringbone Coat
Zara proved her sustainable sartorial prowess as she stepped out at Cheltenham Festival this year in a re-used but immaculate fit-and-flare coat layered over a Holland Cooper sweater and boots.
She topped the look with an emerald green Juliette Botterill headpiece.
Zara previously wore the coat dress – by favoured brand LK Bennett – at the Cheltenham Festival last year.
But on that occasion, she gave the look a monochrome spin with a black Somerset Millinery fedora.
And on Christmas Day in 2022, Zara twinned the coat with Christian Louboutin pumps, a Lalage bag and another show-stopping Juliette Botterill fascinator.
Floral Dress
Zara Tindall delivered a fabulous floral fashion ensemble at the Monaco Grand Prix last year.
She wore a Zimmermann dress, Soek sunglasses and an Aspinal of London bag.
Zara previously chose the dress for the Platinum Jubilee Pageant in 2022. It features a midi hemline and long, textured sleeves with a cinched-in waistline.
The only difference between Zara’s two outings in the outfit was a different choice of sunglasses. She opted for an Illesteva pair in 2022.
Blue Houndstooth Coat
Zara Tindall looked elegant in tones of blue as she arrived for day two of the Cheltenham Festival last year in a teal coat by Rebecca Vallance.
The statement houndstooth piece was elevated with the addition of a bespoke Juliette Botterill hat, Aspinal of London bag, and Holland Cooper boots.
Later in the year at Cheltenham November Meeting, Zara recycled the coat.
But this time, she opted for a Hicks & Brown fedora and Fairfax & Favor boots, which gave the ensemble a more relaxed feel.
Black Lace Dress
When Zara debuted her baby bump in January 2018 – at a Magic Millions polo event on the Gold Coast – she wore a White Label Noba lace detail black mini dress.
The garment, which Zara twinned with an Ecua-Andino Panama Hat, became an instant sell-out.
Months later, Zara recycled her dress for an outing at the The Royal County of Berkshire Polo Club in what was her first public appearance since giving birth to Lena.
She again paired it with the same pair of Michael Kors sandals, showing how the versatile dress can work during and after pregnancy.
Burgundy Coat
Ever the royal style icon, Zara Tindall wowed as she attended the first day of Cheltenham Festival 2023 in a Karen Millen burgundy coat that royal fans might recognise.
The structured coat had broad shoulders and a nipped-in waist creating the perfect hourglass silhouette.
It was teamed with navy The Fold trousers, Emmy pumps and a Juliette Botterill felt pillbox hat, showing its versatility.
Zara had worn the coat just a few months earlier at the Together at Christmas’ Carol Service at Westminster Abbey.
During the Christmas outing, Zara again dazzled as she layered the garment over an Erdem printed dress, sheer tights and Emmy pumps.
