We can confirm that Denver Hume has signed a one-year deal with the Club.
The 25-year-old left-back joined Town during the January transfer window, making 16 appearances throughout the second half of the season and opening his account for the Mariners in the 3-0 win away at Crewe Alexandra.
On retaining Hume for another year, manager David Artell said, “Denver has got extremely good pedigree. He’s been playing a good level for a number of years now, which he showed when he came in.”
“He’s got competition with Matty (Carson), but that’s what we want, competition all over the pitch.”
After putting pen to paper to sign a new deal with the Club, Hume said, ” I really enjoyed my time here during the second half of last season, so I’m delighted to get it sorted and I’m looking forward to the new season.”
Welcome, Denver.
