The forward has been on NBA radars after the past 12-18 months and is showing teams what he is capable of at the Summer League.
“I feel like I belong at this level,” Bannan said.
“I feel very confident against the guys I go up against. It’s just a matter of how I can contribute to winning and play with these guys.
“For me, it’s my toughness, competitiveness. That’s always been what I’ve hung my hat on
“I’m gonna be the most competitive guy out there. I’m tough, I’m gonna play physical.
“A big part of that for me is offensive rebounds. I’m gonna go get the ball, get us extra opportunities, help us win the possession battle.”
Bannan explained the message the Clippers have given him throughout the tournament, giving an insight into his role.
“They brought me in and the message to me was, you’re a connector guy for us,” he said.
“You’re someone that could be out there, help make other guys better. Make shots, pass the ball, rebound, do all those little things. I’ve been trying to do my best to do that, help make my teammates better, and enjoying that role.”
