Frontman Shifty Shellshock of rap rock band Crazy Town has died aged 49.
The lead singer — whose real name was Seth Binzer — died on June 24, according to the Los Angeles medical examiner.
Found in his home, no cause of death has been released at the time of writing.
Known for their catchy 2000 hit Butterfly from their debut album, the group rose to fame after their single topped the music charts worldwide.
Following their success, the five-member band broke up temporarily after their 2002 album release before re-forming in 2007 to release a third album.
Shellshock had dated actress Soleil Moon Frye in 2022 and was arrested for a DUI in Los Angeles months following their split.
The singer is survived by three sons.
