Looking at this series, South Africa Women have not been at their best in the field and with the ball so far. Apart from the first 10 overs, it was all India throughout the day. They tried to build some momentum but once the ball got old, South Africa Women got hammering from India in all the sessions. They took two wickets each in the last two sessions but overall it was really an ordinary bowling performance from South Africa. Even a lot of misfields and boundary balls didn’t help them along the way. South Africa Women now have to hope that they start well on Day 2 and restrict India under 650 if possible before they start climbing the mountain. That is it for today.
