Old mate billbil-kun over at Dealabs is back on the PlayStation Plus-leaking wagon it seems, dropping a juicy portion of the list of games supposedly coming to subscribers of the Extra and Deluxe tiers this month.
The leaked list includes some very decent titles, including 2022’s excellent remaster Crisis Core – Final Fantasy VII Reunion, with the sorely underrated Remnant II and No More Heroes 3 also among the lot.
Here’s what billbil-kun claims are some of the games headed the way of PlayStation Plus Extra in July 2024:
- Crisis Core – Final Fantasy VII Reunion
- Remnant II
- Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous – Enhanced Edition
- Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord
- No More Heroes 3
- Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes Complete Edition
Supposedly, the original Remnant: From the Ashes will also be a part of the drop but is less-confirmed than what’s above, and an official announcement with the full list should be arriving at some point today.
I gave Crisis Core – Final Fantasy VII Reunion a huge 9/10 in my original review, saying “Not quite a remake, but well beyond what’s expected of a remaster, Crisis Core Reunion is exactly the kind of reverent and carefully-considered re-release that fans of the original deserve. Not everything from the 2008 iteration holds up equally, but the updates are plentiful enough that it hardly matters. Whether you managed to catch it on the PSP or you’re diving in for the first time – this is without a doubt the definitive way to experience the excellent prequel to Final Fantasy VII.”
