Who were the six best players in Round 12?
Kane Cornes and Nathan Buckley assessed each game and came up with their top six (plus a seventh) performers.

Marcus Bontempelli (Western Bulldogs)
“‘Bont’ on Friday night was huge,” Buckley said on SEN Breakfast.
Cornes added: “He had 14 (disposals) in the last quarter, five clearances and a goal.”
Buckley continued: “It was like ‘put my team on my back and go for it’.
“Five goals to zip in the last quarter. Both sides were undermanned but Bont was huge.
“I thought that he stood up when it counted.”
Patrick Cripps (Carlton)
“Cripps on Thursday night kicking the first two goals of the last quarter,” Buckley said.
“With the game on the line he stepped up to another level.”
Dylan Moore (Hawthorn)
“I loved Dylan Moore’s game,” Buckley said.
“Five goals and 27 touches as a high forward. I love that he’s getting that midfield time.
“I thought that was a tremendous performance.”
Cornes added: “To have 27 and kick five is utopia for them.”
Mason Wood (St Kilda)
“It probably shows you how much the Saints missed him when he had that shoulder and concussion,” Buckley said.
“I thought he was huge.”
Ollie Dempsey (Geelong)
“I liked Ollie Dempsey for the Cats,” Cornes said.
“He had 27 and kicked three, he’s good in the air.
“I hope one day he’s a permanent midfielder because I think he’s got those capabilities and Geelong would love that with their midfield worries.
“I thought he was excellent.”
Jordan Clark (Fremantle)
“You could have picked any one of eight or nine Fremantle players,” Buckley said.
“I thought Jordan Clark’s performance with 36 touches (was good). They do share the ball around that back six a little bit, but he gives them a lot of bite.”

Nick Daicos (Collingwood)
“Nick Daicos had a player record in the history of the game – 25 first possessions which led to 16 clearances,” said Cornes.
“So the ruckmen to player, first hands 25 (times). 25 first possessions to 16 clearances is unbelievable.”
