Kiko Kostadinov Puts on His Armor for SS25

Must read

London-based designer Kiko Kostadinov opened the penultimate day of Paris Fashion Week bright and early. The fashion glitterati fled to his menswear showcase ready for battle, unveiling a combat-inspired collection that sees the designer evolve like never before. While continuing to explore the balance of dressing, Kostadinov steps up his game with utilitarian innovation and previews 39 looks of fashion-forward armor.

Stepping into the mainstream with numerous ASICS collaborations, the Bulgarian-born designer presented a dynamic mainline offering in a central two-story venue. Bathed in the morning sunshine of Paris, models paraded the runway in upgraded brand signatures. The first look, a fresh take on military uniforms, introduced asymmetrical outerwear with shoulder clasps and multiplied button closures. Zippered blazers made their entrance in look four, while stripped knitwear added a touch of intrigue shortly after.

Further down the line, tunic-style cover-ups donned contrasting shoulder ornamentation and were accessorized with puffed head covers, while intergalactic onesies printed with textured spheres swiftly followed. Color-blocked workwear jackets donned contrasting tones through connecting corners, matched with slouchy trousers and fresh laceless footwear. Spring/Summer 2025 saw Kostadinov mature as a designer by holding his own while remaining entirely authentic. We’re ready for a Kiko battle, are you?
