Footage from Monday shows Camilla taking an ice cream from a van at an expo before being ushered away by a royal aide.
The British royals were able to resume their visit to the UK dependency in the English Channel shortly after security appeared to have confirmed the alert was a false alarm.
Buckingham Palace declined to comment on what had happened.
Locals lined the streets of St Helier, the capital of Jersey, to greet the royals before the king gave an official speech.
The incident came after an assassination attempt on former US president Donald Trump at a campaign rally in Pennsylvania.
Two people including the shooter died, and three including Trump were injured in the shooting.
King Charles and Queen Camilla announced this month that they would visit Australia and Samoa in October.
A statement from the royal family confirmed the visit would include engagements in Canberra and New South Wales, with further details to be announced “in due course”.
The royals will also attend the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM), which will be held in Samoa between October 21 and 25.
