BARRIER DRAW WINNERS AND LOSERS

WINNERS: I Wish I Win has drawn barrier 1 again. Time will tell if it’s an advantage or not, but it’s better than being drawn 10-12. Doomben 10,000 hero Bella Nipotina has drawn perfectly in gate 2, while Godolphin mare In Secret has fared well in 4.

LOSERS: Joe Pride wanted an inside gate for Think About It and he didn’t get it. Blake Shinn will have to weave some magic from barrier 8, which looks tricky. Antino has drawn 12 of 12, and makes his task a huge one. Magic Time has drawn nine of 12, which isn’t ideal.

BARRIER DRAW WINNERS AND LOSERS

WINNERS: Favourite Autumn Angel has drawn the inside marble meaning she will do no work in the run and should be able to settle handier under Mark Zahra. She’s just going to need luck at the right time. Tannhauser, who beat her in the Rough Habit Plate, has drawn perfectly in 3 (will come into 2 if third emergency, Saxon Brave, is scratched) with Nash Rawiller taking over the ride while J-Mac is overseas.

LOSERS: SA Derby runner-up Warmonger has landed the visitor’s draw in barrier 23 and will jump from the widest gate.
