Kmart shoppers go wild over $30 ‘dupe’ of designer item costing $450

A denim dress is a classic staple in any wardrobe that can be dressed up with pair of heels or worn casually with white sneakers.

But some designer brands can cost hundreds of dollars.

Kmart shoppers are going wild over a $30 denim dress that looks similar to Aje’s designer Colorado Denim Mini Dress which retails for $445.

The budget retailer’s Long Sleeve Denim Mini Dress comes in two different colours — mid wash and black — and is made from cotton, recycled polyester and elastane materials.

The affordable dress comes in sizes 6-20 and features long sleeves with buttoned cuffs, a spread collar, a button up front and tie detail at the waist.

The budget denim dress has a five-star rating on Kmart’s site and shoppers are loving it.

“Gorgeous dress that is super flattering around the belly and the hips. I wear to school as a teacher with thick black stocking and black boots. Super comfy and nice enough for work. Can be dressed up with stockings and heels,” said one.

“Fabulous little dress, comfortable, great quality and fit,” added another.

“Beautiful, on trend and an unbeatable price,” said a third.

Another shared: “Got my hands on this dress… It’s a perfect dress for colder months. Length is perfect, color is beautiful, overall a gorgeous add to my wardrobe.”

On the other hand, Aje’s designer Colorado Denim Mini Dress comes in sizes 4-16 and is available in the one colour, washed indigo.

It also differs from the Kmart version as it is made from 100 per cent cotton fabric.

The designer dress features a removable belt with gold D-rings, front patch pockets and a front placket with gold accent buttons.

An Instagram post comparing the two dresses has garnered many comments and people are preferring the Kmart choice.

“Looks amazing,” said one.

“I am obsessed with this dress,” said another.

“Wow,” added a third.
