Australian fashion lovers are stunned after discovering a near-exact dupe of a popular $445 dress for only $30 at Kmart.
Fashion trends can change in the blink of an eye, and Australian women have struggled to keep up with the latest go-to buys.
Kmart’s long sleeve denim mini dress ($30) bears a startling resemblance to Australian designer brand Aje’s Colorado denim mini dress ($445).
Denim dresses are year-round staples because you can wear them on their own in summer, but layer with turtlenecks when the weather starts to cool down.
Both mini dresses have long sleeves, pockets, and statement gold buttons adorning the front.

While the Aje dress has two breast pockets, Kmart’s version appears sleeker without them.
You can cinch the dress at your waist using the denim belt tie, and choose between the front and back for a little bow to complete the look.
Australians have been turning to affordable brands for ‘dupes’ of popular designer buys as the country slowly climbs out of the cost of living crisis.
Cotton On recently released a budget pair of $70 heels that are an ‘exact replica’ of $200 Tony Bianco shoes – and they’ve been dubbed ‘shoes of the season’.
Kmart also blew shoppers away with a $40 version of a $4,000 designer trench coat – and it goes with everything.

Shoppers shared their love for the budget buy online.
‘Gorgeous dress that is super flattering around my belly and hips,’ a woman raved. ‘Super comfortable and nice enough for work! It can be dressed up too with stockings and heels.’
‘Fabulous little dress, comfortable, great quality and fit,’ another echoed.
‘It’s a perfect dress for colder months. Length is perfect, colour is beautiful, overall a gorgeous add to my wardrobe,’ a five-star review said.
Kmart isn’t the first budget brand to dupe an Aje design- with Big W previously releasing a denim mini skirt and Target also debuting a $70 denim dress.
