Jena Sims, the wife of LIV Golf star Brooks Koepka, has opened up on her recent trip to a plastic surgeon’s office for botox injections and the fears she had before the treatment
Jena Sims, the wife of golf superstar Brooks Koepka, voiced her panic following a recent trip to a plastic surgeon for botox injections.
Jena, aged 35, is married to the LIV Golf star and five-time major champion. She took to social media to relay her experiences, confessing her anxiety before her treatment and dreading the worst outcome.
“I ain’t doing it for you all. I’m doing it for me. I personally love injectables. But within reason,” she informed her online audience of 305,000 on Instagram.
She questioned, “My first thought was is my esophagus gonna shut down? Am I gonna be able to breathe? Am I gonna be able to eat? Like she’s like yes, literally nothing is gonna be…like…it’s gonna be unchanged.”
Following her account, Sims was faced with queries about whether or not she would consider undergoing plastic surgery after receiving botox injections.
“So yeah, I am so happy to have met [the doctors],” she offered in response. “I am not going under the knife. I am not getting any surgery done. But it is just a plastic surgeon’s office. I am not.
“I am not doing. I am not interested in any surgery. I just wanted to get a little squirt squirt here and there, and that’s what I did.”
Sims embarked on a relationship journey with Koepka in 2017, having met at The Masters two years earlier. They publicly confirmed their engagement in 2021 and cemented their bond in matrimony in a sumptuous ceremony in Turks and Caicos the following year.
Sims has quickly become one of the most recognisable faces among golf WAGs, frequently sharing glimpses of her life with husband and newborn son, Crew, on social media. The former Miss Teen USA, who is also an actress and model, expressed her joy at supporting her husband on the golf course in an interview with Golf Digest.
“I love being able to support Brooks and watch him because he’s so talented,” she shared. “He’ll say to me all the time: ‘It must be so boring walking around in the crowd watching me play’.
“And I’m like, ‘no way’. I actually really enjoy it. I think it’s hilarious to be standing in the galleries watching Brooks and hearing what people say about him.”
Never ones to shy away from the limelight, the couple have made appearances in the Netflix documentary series “Full Swing”, and even starred together in a 2021 Super Bowl advert for Michelob Ultra beer.
