There are only three days to go before the start of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, but we’ve already had a huge upset before the tournament with the USA defeating Bangladesh 2-1 in their three-match series.
A six-run win for the tournament co-hosts in the second Twenty20 international in Houston, Texas, sealed the three-match series.
Chasing a modest 145 to win on May 23, Bangladesh were well placed at 78-2 before losing their last eight wickets for 60 runs to crash to defeat two days after losing the opening match by five wickets.
Bangladesh fought back to win the third match of the series by 10 wickets on Saturday, but by then, the damage was done.
