Latrell Mitchell took to social media this morning to pledge his support for Scott, following verbal jabs thrown by Hall this week.

Several NRL players are expected to be in the Wollongong Entertainment Centre crowd tonight to cheer on Scott, who is unbeaten in two bouts and just four months into his professional career at 26.

Earlier this week, Hall took aim at Scott during the fight week press to conference saying he was “no Latrell Mitchell” after Scott said he would go close to making the current NSW Origin side.

A host of current NRL players have also rallied around the former Melbourne Storm centre, with Jack Wighton also backing him to win on social media.

One thing most people are looking past is Hall’s massive weight gain – he’s packed on 10kgs to be at 104kgs since his loss to Sonny Bill Williams two years ago.
