Injured Queensland star Cameron Munster has taken a sly dig at the NSW team selections.
Munster was asked on Nine’s Today what he thought of the Maroons picking Selwyn Cobbo on their bench.
The cheeky five-eighth suggested the Blues may live to regret not also picking an outside back on their bench.
“I think it’s a great idea having someone (like him) on the bench,” Munster told Nine’s Today.
“As Freddy would know being the coach of the Blues the last several seasons, you never know who’s going to go down (injured).
“I don’t understand why the Blues don’t… they might use someone like Isaah Yeo or Cameron McInnes to go to certain positions.
“But we definitely needed that utility on the bench. In the outside backs you don’t know who’s going to go down.
“I think it’s a great idea… I’m excited to see where (Cobbo) plays.”
