LIVE NRL: Dragons turn game on its head with thrilling try in heated Tigers clash

Must read

The Wests Tigers have snatched a two-point lead over the Dragons heading into half time after what’s been a topsy-turvy first 40 minutes at WIN Stadium.

It looked like the Tigers had emerged as a brand new team after the bye in the opening 15 minutes as Bud Sullivan carved up his former club with a try assist and try.

But the momentum shifted quickly with the Dragons scoring through Kyle Flanagan and then Zac Lomax.

Tyrell Sloan batted back a Ben Hunt cross-field kick to Kyle Flanagan for the first try before a barnstorming 40-metre run from Moses Suli was finished off by Lomax.

Things heated up between the two teams with Alex Seyfarth sharing a push and shove with Flanagan before several players ran in.

Flanagan was disallowed a try because it was deemed a double movement and then, as the rugby league Gods would have it, in the very next set Seyfarth crossed to give his side the lead.
