The Bunnies are a man down for the rest of this half, with Richard Kennar sent for a 10 minute spell for a lazy high tackle on Selwyn Cobbo.
It got Cobbo right around the neck, and he could be in some strife when the MRC release their charges on Saturday morning.
“You can tell by his reaction he didn’t mean that … I don’t know if it’s the bin,” Billy Slater said in commentary for Nine.
But then Kennar was called out of the line.
“There’s no mitigating factors. He doesn’t bend his back. Direct and forceful. On report. In the bin,” referee Adam Gee said.
Cobbo also came off the field for a HIA.
“That’s an invite for the Broncos, they’ll get good field position and be attacking the Rabbitohs’ line with only 12 men,” Slater said.
But they did nothing with it. It’s not a good night for the Broncos so far.
