Tom Trbojevic’s switch to the centres last just one week, with the Manly star named to play fullback in Sunday’s crucial clash against the Knights.

The club’s marquee man will wear the No.1 jumper in the absence of Tolu Koula and after getting through his return against the Cowboys unscathed, it could be the perfect opportunity for Trbojevic to explode.

“That was a tough game last week, the conditions would have been tricky,” Brad Fittler said on Nine’s Sunday Footy Show.

“He would have been cooked, but it was good for him though.”

Newcastle legend Andrew Johns believes the fullback is primed for a huge game, but is sticking solid with his former side to get the job done.

“He’ll kill it,” Johns said.

“Knights are up and about, they are really confident and this will be an absolute ripper.”
