We looked at where Alex de Minaur has improved ahead of this quarter-final, and one area was his second-serve winning percentage, which ranks sixth on the ATP Tour in the past 12 months. That ability has been important in keeping him in this so far today. He is oddly winning 69 per cent of second-serve points but only 58 per cent on his first serve. They are typically the other way around, but Demon will have to find a way to win more first-serve points.
