A couple from Bullsbrook who have stuck with the same Lotto numbers for 11 years are celebrating a $2.5 million win in Saturday Lotto.
And the winning ticket holder revealed the first thing she did after discovering the ticket she purchased from Bullsbrook Newsagency a week earlier had made her $2.5 million richer.
“I heard there was a winner in Bullsbrook, but I didn’t think anything of it,” she said.
“I’ve always dreamed of winning, the news is still sinking in. We still went home and cooked dinner, I asked myself, why am I cooking dinner I’ve just won Lotto, but we were in total shock.” The woman, who runs a hobby business, revealed she had already quit her day job to focus on her passion project,
“I’ve never had enough time to really get it off the ground, now I can work doing what I love to do,” she said. “We don’t plan to do anything crazy with the money, we just want to enjoy life and spend more time with family. “Although I’m definitely going to pay the mortgage off and treat myself to a new truck.” The next chance to win big is in tonight’s OZ Lotto $40 million jackpot. Tickets are available until 6pm tonight in-store, online, or via the Lotterywest App.
