BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — LSU women’s basketball star Mikaylah Williams was named to the 2024 USA U23 3×3 Basketball Team.
The team is expected to compete in the FIBA 3×3 U23 Nations League in September. Williams will be joined by Christinia Dalce, Morgan Maly, Cotie McMahon, Lucy Olsen and Serah Williams on the 2024 USA 3×3 Women’s Nation League Team.
Williams will also be playing on the America’s Tour in Mexico City from July 22-28, according to LSU Athletics. She has had success playing 3×3 with USA Basketball as she earned tournament MVP in the last FIBA 3×3 U18 World Cups, according to LSU Athletics.
Williams also earned USA Basketball Female Athlete of the Year in 2023.
She is coming off a terrific freshman season with the Lady Tigers. During her first year at LSU, Williams averaged 14.5 points, 4.9 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game, according to LSU Athletics.
