Nicole Kidman‘s niece Lucia Hawley became flustered on Thursday evening while interviewing Austin Butler at the State Theatre during the Sydney Film Festival.
The 7Bravo reporter, 25, attempted to chat to Austin, 32, about his new movie The Bikeriders, but quickly became red-faced when he turned the tables on her.
In footage shared to Instagram, Hawley was seen introducing herself to the Elvis star, when in a surprise turn of events he began ‘interviewing’ her.
‘I don’t like talking about myself. Are you from Sydney?’ Butler asked her, and she said yes, joking that she was supposed to be the one asking the questions.
‘What else can you tell me, how old are you and what are you interested in?’ Butler enquired.
Hawley responded that she was interested in art and Butler then asked her where she finds ‘cool’ artworks, prompting an embarrassed Lucia to burst into laughter.
‘I should probably jump into questions because this is my job. If I don’t, I will get into trouble,’ she joked.
Followers quickly took to the comment section to express their amusement over the hilarious clip, and joked that Butler – who is dating Kaia Gerber – was flirting with her.
‘This is brilliant!’ one fan wrote and a second person added: ‘This is incredible.’
‘This made me really like him! I loved that he was curious and interested in someone else,’ a third person chipped in.
Hawley donned a stunning all-black look for the exclusive event as she showed off her sense of style.
Rocking a smoky eye, the TV presenter slipped into a form-fitting maxi dress which featured a racy cut out across her mid-section.

She accessorised with a gold watch and stacks of rings on her wedding and middle finger, which are heirlooms passed down from her mother.
Hawley is the daughter of veteran Australian TV presenter Antonia Kidman – the younger sister of Nicole – and her late ex-husband Angus Hawley.
Last year, Lucia said she shouldn’t be labelled a ‘nepo baby‘, after landing a coveted new gig hosting red carpet events for Live From E! on Seven Network’s new channel 7Bravo.
‘I’ve been working towards this,’ she told The Sunday Telegraph at the time.
‘Having a mum who had been in the industry, through osmosis you gain that perspective and understanding and I think that’s been one of the biggest things that has helped in preparing me for this role, just having watched her and how she has carried herself through everything.’
