Dear community members,
In September, I will be in the market for a new laptop (or even a tablet – Surface Pro 11). My main use for that future laptop or tablet will be writing /reading research/surfing. Now, personally, I see only two and a half options here: The 15-inch Macbook Air M3 (also based on Paul’s terrific review of it), the 15-inch Surface Laptop 7, and the half option: The Surface Pro 11. This last device, its versatility to use it also as a tablet, and the use of the detachable keyboard is something I really find efficient for my workflow. Although I am not sure about the smaller screen when putting in the hours working behind it.
So, do you guys have any experience with these machines? I am sure Paul will address this ultimate question in a future article comparing the MacBook Air M3 with the Surface Laptop 7 (I look forward to reading it). But I thought, instead of waiting for Paul’s article to drop, I also wanted to ask the community.
I prefer Word on Windows more (as I do my writing in Word), but I can adjust to the Word on Mac if necessary.
