Hayley Vernon has found religion after officially quitting the adult industry.

The Married At First Sight star, who has spent the past four years working as a porn actress and high-class escort, announced that she has been ‘born again’ as a Christian in an Instagram post on Sunday.

The 37-year-old shared images of her baptism in a picturesque lake, aided by two people who appeared to be ministers.

Hayley wore a black shirt that read, ‘Jesus said you must be born again’, across the front.

In her caption, the former reality star began with a passage from the Bible, which read: ‘”For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future”.’

She noted that the quote came from Jeremiah 29:11.

Hayley further explained: ‘Yesterday I was born again in my faith making a public declaration to the outside world based on the inward transformation I have experienced through finding Christ.

‘My relationship with my faith has changed every aspect of my life. If you know, you know, and if you don’t when I say EVERY aspect I hand on heart can confirm not one negative has come through finding Christianity, quiet the contrary every corner has levelled up and what wasn’t serving me has fallen to the wayside’.

She continued: ‘There isn’t enough space or even words to explain the transformative goodness of God. Every inch of my life has changed for the better, finding my faith has given me a firmer foundation to live my life on.

‘It’s absolutely by far been the best thing that has happened to me. I would have called you crazy if 6 months ago you would have said I’d be here.

‘But truth be told there has not been one negative only positive areas of improvement – has letting go and being challenged been easy – nope – have I come out better for it? Absolutely,’ Hayley concluded.

In February, Hayley announced her resignation from the adult industry in an emotional Instagram Story video.

During the lengthy clip, she branded the sex industry as ‘soul destroying’ and said she would be ‘ceasing all adult work’, effective immediately.

‘It just feels like a big breath out for me,’ the bodybuilder said.

In February, the star announced her resignation from the adult industry. Hayley, who earned a whopping AUD$90,000 within the first month of joining the subscription website OnlyFans, explained that she only entered the industry out of desperation

‘I will not be filming any more videos for [OnlyFans]. I think I have about nine, ten releases left. I will not be engaging or solicitating [sic] myself anymore, or giving any of my being to anyone further than what I have done,’ she continued.

Hayley admitted that being an adult entertainer was always ‘so far removed’ from her real identity, adding that the industry had brought ‘so much negativity’ into her life over the years.

‘I was suffering from severe anxiety, I wasn’t certain of who I was because I was trying to be someone different. I’ve just made the decision that it does not serve myself. It’s soul destroying, I’m just going to say it,’ she lamented.

‘And I know that a lot of people are going to be like, ‘You’re a hypocrite’… But I was merely supposed to pass through this stage of my life. I was never supposed to sit in it,’ she added.

‘I got into it because I needed money during Covid, and I said to myself that I would get XYZ, and then I’d be out. And then I got greedy,’ she confessed.

‘I have never felt so free and so light in my heart since making the decision to get out of the industry,’ she went on.

Hayley also said she is now looking forward to working a normal job, and wants to use the rest of her life to help others.

Two days earlier, Hayley announced her new business venture CapitalHach – a women’s only wellness retreat.

According to a post on her Instagram, the retreat aims to teach participants strategies to become the ‘biggest version of themselves’.

The first retreat will take place in Phuket, Thailand, and will offer ‘women’s workshops’, yoga, boxing, hiking, meditation and fitness classes.
