A man has been arrested after the tyres of the ute he was allegedly driving were blown out during a police chase on the Gold Coast.
7NEWS filmed the 33-year-old man being pursued at low speed by police on the M1 at Palm Beach about 10am on Monday.

He yelled something unintelligible to a 7NEWS journalist and camera operator.
Police began pursuing the man after he was reported to have been driving dangerously in Yatala about 8.30am.
Spikes laid by police in Reedy Creek destroyed his tyres, but he continued to drive south on the M1.
He crashed into a concrete barrier at an exit on the highway in Palm Beach.
Chief Superintendent Craig Hanlon described the chase as a “slow-speed pursuit”.
“Police positioned themselves the behind the vehicle to stop other road users going around that vehicle,” he said.
The man suffered minor injuries in the crash, but no one else was injured during the pursuit.
The Capalaba man was charged with dangerous driving while intoxicated, evasion and driving unlicensed.
He is due to appear in Southport Magistrates Court on July 2.
