Four bodies have been found in a house in Melbourne’s North.
Two men, a woman and a teenage boy were found dead in Bicknell Court, Broadmeadows.

A crime scene has been established, but police believe the cause of death is not suspicious.

The attacker, 36, who police say had no fixed address, was charged with murder.

A short time after the incident, police arrived at the scene and arrested the 36-year-old. He will appear before the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Sunday.

A traumatised witness spoke to the Herald Sun and said he saw the unprovoked ambush just before dawn on Saturday.

The outlet was told the fisherman was randomly targeted and it seemed the attacker intended to kill the first person he saw.

“He (came) to kill,” the witness said.

“He didn’t come here just to let out some anger or fight … he knew what he wanted to do before he even got here.

“He just walked up, killed him and walked off.”

The witness said there was no argument or talking, and the fisherman did not “stand a chance”.

He said he checked on the 45-year-old victim before calling police and chasing down the attacker.

Police confirmed the attacker and the victim did not know each other.

The ordeal lasted “not even a minute”, with the witness only able to return to the fishing spot after assisting police with inquiries and after the crime scene had been taken down.

The witness spoke just metres from where the attack took place and said he had been fishing closer to the foreshore earlier in the morning from about 3.30am and considered himself very lucky to be alive.
