A man has been charged over the death of an 11-year-old WA boy in 2021.
Until the boy’s death, police said he required round the clock care after being injured in his family home in 2010.
In September 2021, he was admitted to Perth Children’s Hospital due to his worsening health, and died later that month.

It’s alleged the injuries the boy received in 2010 were directly linked to his death.
On Thursday police arrested a 37-year-old man over the boy’s death and charged him with manslaughter.
The man, who was known to the boy, was refused bail to appear in Perth Magistrates Court on Friday.
