A young man has died as his car erupted in flames in a horrifying crash on an Adelaide bridge.
Police were called to the single car crash on Hanson Road Bridge, over the Port River Expressway, in Wingfield about 8.30pm on Wednesday.
The Nissan Sedan immediately caught fire upon impact, killing the 27-year-old driver.

He was the only person in the car at the time of the crash.
Hanson Rd was closed at Hines Rd along with the exit ramps from the Port River Expressway onto Hanson Rd, but all have since been reopened.
Investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing, police said.
The man’s death is the 47th life lost on South Australian roads this year.
