Margot Robbie is reportedly pregnant with her first child with husband Tom Ackerley.
The Australian actress, 34, appeared to proudly display her baby bump for the first time during a holiday in Italy on Sunday.
She appeared in high spirits with her small belly exposed as she paraded around a deck before boarding a boat at Lake Como with Ackerly, also 34.
The Barbie star was all smiles dressed in white crop top ensemble paired with black pants and a matching blazer.
According to People, multiple sources have confirmed the exciting baby news for Robbie and Ackerley.
The couple first met on the set of romantic drama Suite Française in 2013 and were initially friends.
In 2014, they moved to London with LuckyChap Entertainment co-founders Sophia Kerr and Josey McNamara.
Later the same year, Robbie and Ackerley began a romantic relationship and in December 2016, they married in a private wedding ceremony in Byron Bay, Australia.
Speaking to Vogue in 2016, the actress spoke about her friendship-turned-love story with Ackerley and described the whirlwind romance she had always hoped for.
“I was the ultimate single gal. The idea of relationships made me want to vomit,” she said.
“And then this crept up on me. We were friends for so long. I was always in love with him, but I thought, ‘Oh, he would never love me back. Don’t make it weird, Margot. Don’t be stupid and tell him that you like him’,” she said.
“And then it happened, and I was like, of course we’re together. This makes so much sense, the way nothing has ever made sense before.”
In a 2019 interview with Radio Times, Robbie candidly discussed the social pressures of starting a family shortly after marriage.
“I got married, and the first question in almost every interview is, ‘Babies? When are you having one?’” she said.
“I’m so angry that there’s this social contract. You’re married, now have a baby. Don’t presume. I’ll do what I’m going to do.”
Born and raised in Queensland, Robbie began her acting career in 2008 on the television series Neighbours, on which she was a regular until 2011.
After moving to the United States, she led the television series Pan Am (2011–2012) and later shot to fame in her breakthrough role as Naomi Lapaglia in Martin Scorsese’s 2013 film The Wolf of Wall Street.
She went onto achieve wider recognition with starring roles as Jane Porter in The Legend of Tarzan (2016), and as Harley Quinn in the DC Extended Universe films beginning with Suicide Squad (2016).
Robbie then starred as the fashion doll in the fantasy comedy Barbie in 2023, which she produced.
The film emerged as her highest-grossing release and earned her a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Picture.
She and Ackerley currently reside in Venice Beach, California.
