MasterChef wins Monday reality battle | TV Tonight

Ever-reliable MasterChef Australia had a win in the battle of reality shows last night, although it was ABC which won the slot.

7:30 drew 791,000 in National TV Audience followed by Australian Story (741,000), MasterChef Australia (703,000), Dream Home (632,000) and The Summit (542,000).

Later Have You Been Paying Attention? was strong at 765,000 then Four Corners (603,000), Media Watch (584,000), 9-1-1 (373,000), Paramedics (341,000).

Seven News topped the night at 1.45m with Home & Away topping entertainment at 835,000 then The Chase (765,000). SWAT was 111,000.

Nine News averaged 1.28m with wins by A Current Affair (1.04m) and Tipping Point (801,000). Footy Classifed managed 106,000.

ABC News scored 936,000. Hard Quiz (437,000), Antiques Roadshow (283,000) and Q+A (279,000) followed.

The Project drew 387,000 for 10 then 10 News First (360,000) and Deal or No Deal (350,000). A Taskmaster replay was 273,000.

On SBS it was Tony Robinson’s Marvellous Machines (161,000) and SBS World News (143,000 / 100,000).
