Race 2 – 8. Out of the Sphere
I’m heading to the 2YO race, and a first starter is my best of the day.
Out of the Sphere is a $45k debutant beginning her career for Adam Trinder off the back of two very impressive trials. The stable showed last season that they’re a force with late- season 2YOs, including Red Sphere, a full brother to Out of the Sphere.
No doubt this Tasbred bonus race has been circled on the calendar for a long time, and I’d expect Out of the Sphere to take a power of beating.

Race 7 – 4. Lispector
Lispector won her first Tasmanian start for Glenn Stevenson, and I think she can make it 2/2. She jumped to the front a fortnight ago in a race with good pace and ran her opposition ragged, posting an 1150m time that was quicker than the two higher class races on the program.
From barrier 1, Codi Jordan can either lead or box seat and provided the horse settles, she can win again.

Race 5 – 11. Reward For Rosie
Out to 1880m should suit Reward For Rosie, who is a one-paced grinder that wasn’t suited racing in behind them last time in a very slowly run 1650m.
I like the wide draw as it gives Newitt time to work to the lead, or outside lead, which is the spot the 6YO mare will need to be if she’s to run a race. She’ll be good each-way odds, and I can see her whacking her way into the finish if the race is run to suit.
