Melbourne Victory is pleased to announce the signing of forward Jing Reec for the 2024/25 Isuzu UTE A-League season.

The 21-year-old joins the Club on a three-year deal, signing on until the end of the 2026/27 A-League Men’s season from Danish side Aarhus.

Prior to heading to Denmark, the young forward made his A-League Men’s debut in 2021 with Central Coast, before being loaned back to the Mariners for the 23/24 season where he featured prominently, making 20 league appearances, scoring three times and featuring in the Mariners’ AFC Cup triumph.

Melbourne Victory A-League Men’s Head Coach Patrick Kisnorbo said the addition of Reec to the squad will add exciting flair to the side’s attacking third.

“We’re excited to have Jing join the Club for the next three seasons,” Kisnorbo said.

“Jing brings an exuberance and a hard-working attitude that fits the ethos of our squad. His power, speed and finishing prowess that we believe will complement our attacking options.

“He had an incredible break-out season in the league and we’re looking forward to him being able to continue that in Melbourne.”

Reec was also excited to be joining Victory for the next 3 seasons.

“I’m delighted to be joining Melbourne Victory,” Reec said.

“This is an exciting opportunity for me to come to Melbourne and prove myself at one of the biggest clubs in the country.

“The work starts now for me to give everything I can for the fans and for everyone at Melbourne Victory to achieve big things next season.”

Reec is the second new signing of the 2024/25 Isuzu UTE A-League Men’s squad, joining Josh Rawlins, as the team returns to pre-season training on Wednesday 10 July.
