KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The St. Olaf College men’s basketball team continued its streak of receiving the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Team Academic Excellence Award and had five of its student-athletes named to the NABC Honors Court, as announced on Monday.
St. Olaf earned the NABC Team Academic Excellence Award for the fifth consecutive season after compiling a team grade-point average (GPA) of 3.52 for the 2023-24 academic year. Head coach Dan Kosmoski‘s program was one of over 360 programs from across the country to land the accolade, which is awarded to programs with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher.
For the third season in a row, at least five Oles landed spots on the NABC Honors Court, which includes juniors, seniors, and graduate students who finished the academic year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher. Recent graduates Josh Albers, Caleb Greer, Connor Martin, and Aidan Ramana, as well as rising senior Dashiel Walker, represented St. Olaf on the Honors Court. Albers earned the accolade for the third year in a row, while Greer did so for the second year in a row. The other three were first-time honorees.
