Michael Jordan named four NBA stars who could play in his era.

Michael Jordan once named the FOUR NBA stars who could have played in his era.

Jordan won an impressive six NBA championships in the 90s.

He helped Chicago Bulls to three consecutive NBA titles from 1990 to 1993 before winning three more in a row from 1995 to 1998.

He’s viewed as one of the greatest – if not the greatest – following his exploits on the court.

Jordan dominated his era as he enjoyed a trophy-career career with the Bulls.

And he’s called the modern players ‘soft’, ‘coddled’ and ‘ill-prepared’ for the highest level of the game.

He’s often compared to the current generation of players as he named the FOUR players who could have played in his era.

According to Wright Thompson, Jordan quipped that he could ‘only come up with four’, naming the late Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Tim Duncan and Dirk Nowitzki.

Jordan paid a huge compliment to Bryant when asked who could beat him in a one-on-one.

He notably snubbed Stephen Curry, who is widely regarded as one of the greatest shooters. He’s inspired Golden State Warriors to four NBA championships during his stellar career.

But Jordan did name James, with fans and critics alike comparing him to ‘King James’.

On the Los Angeles Lakers star, ‘MJ’ explained: “We play in different eras. He’s an unbelievable player. He’s one of the best players in the world, if not the best player in the world. I know it’s a natural tendency to compare eras to eras, and it’s going to continue to happen. I’m a fan of his, I love watching him play.

“But when you start the comparisons, I think it is what it is. It’s just a stand-up measurement. I take it with a grain of salt.

“He is a heck of a basketball player without a doubt.”
