Michigan has long been the leading US state in iGaming. According to research done at the start of this year, the Wolverine state had a record-breaking online gambling revenue in 2023, racking up $1.92 billion. How is this possible? Well, it’s largely thanks to the immersive and packed game lobbies of the 15 licensed Michigan online casinos that pique players’ interest.
Now, the lobbies of these casinos will be broadened with another fun and exciting slot game created through a collaboration between Nolimit City and Evolution Gaming. Evolution is finally taking a step forward and exploring game types other than roulette and blackjack live dealer tables. As its first step in the world of slots, it has announced the release of Buffalo Hunter.
Buffalo Hunter will soon be available in the lobbies of all popular Michigan casinos collaborating with this software provider, including Caesars Palace Online Casino, BetMGM, BetRivers, FanDuel, and others. Similarly, players from Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey, and West Virginia will also be able to access this slot primarily from the lobbies of the same casinos.
Buffalo Hunter Mechanics
Buffalo Hunter, a 5×4 slot with a total of 40 paylines, offers an immersive gaming experience with its captivating graphics. Its bonus features, including free spins and multipliers, increase the chances of winning big. The game also features scatter symbols that can trigger a Stampede super bonus feature. With a max winning potential of 12,647x players’ bet, it’s a game that promises excitement and rewards.
Evolution’s CEO, Jason Claesson, described the slot’s release as a significant step for both Evolution and Nolimit City. Nolimit City’s COO and Commercial Director Malcolm Mizzi expressed excitement to see how online slot players react to the game while also saying that the company’s slot catalog has always been inspired by US themes, making this launch even more exciting for them.
Buffalo-Inspired Slots Keep Dominating
It’s no secret that Michigan casino players enjoy buffalo slots. This fact is supported by several reports done by Eilers & Krejcik Gaming (EKG) and Fantini Research, a duo of research firms. Their reports showed that two of the five top-ranking slots in December 2023 had buffalo-inspired themes, while in January 2024, that number had gone up to three out of five.
If you are not a fan of buffalo slots, don’t worry. Evolution and Nolimit City have already revealed their intentions to release three more slots. Two of them, Tombstone and Deadwood xNudge, are inspired by the Wild West, whereas the third one, East Coast Vs West Coast, has a hip-hop-inspired theme. All these slots, including Buffalo Hunter, are expected to be eligible for Michigan online casino promotions once they appear in the lobbies of the 15 licensed Michigan online casinos.
