Microsoft Drops New Windows 11 Insider Builds for Dev and Beta Testers

Must read

Microsoft has just released two new Windows 11 Insider builds for Dev and Beta Channels testers. On the Dev Channel, the 24H2 build 26210.770 brings undetailed bug fixes and no new features, and there’s also a Snipping Tool Update that introduces automatic save for screen recordings. This update also started rolling out on the Canary Channel earlier this week.

The Dev Channel is getting a more substantial update today with the 23H2 build 22635.3720. Beta testers who turned on the Windows Update toggle to receive new features will get the same Narrator improvements Microsoft released on the Canary build 26231 yesterday. In short, Narrator users can now use voice access to dictate text and hear what is dictated. There’s also a new command for searching directly with Windows search, as well as an auto restart feature that will automatically restart voice access when it crashes.

Lastly, Microsoft is now rolling Suggested Replies in Phone Link for Beta Channel testers with an Android phone. This feature was previously made available on both the Canary and Beta Channels, and it displays 3 suggested reply bubbles to choose from when you receive a text message.
