Mom goes viral for hilarious warning about traveling with small kids

Must read

Summer vacation season has arrived, and if you’re planning a trip with your family that includes any kids under 3, you might want to watch this viral video first (and then reconsider). In her TikTok video that’s racking up views, mom Kelsey P explains why traveling with small kids is actually “horrible,” and TBH, she makes some good points.

“Those TikToks and Instagram Reels of like, parents with their small baby and they’re like, ‘Don’t let them stop you from seeing the world! Take them with you! Travel!’” she says, before breaking into maniacal laughter and blowing a raspberry into the camera.

“F*ck that,” she continues. “I’m just here to remind you that traveling with small children is indeed horrible. It is! There’s not one part of it I enjoy other than arriving at my destination. But everything in between is the pits. It’s for the birds.”

She goes on to clarify that this only truly applies to kids under age 3, and that, “The second you can get that kid on an iPad, chef’s kiss,” which is true.

And for the parents who are going to accuse her of “fear mongering,” she has this to say: “Look at your little, little, squirmy baby, 12-18 months old. Now imagine that on an airplane, for many hours, where you’re trying to just shush them. They won’t nap. They will stuff soggy crackers in your mouth for hours on end. They won’t f*cking sit still. I’m not saying don’t do it. Just know it’s horrible. That’s all.”

In the comments, many other moms chimed in to let her know that they detected zero lies.

“I travelled 9hrs with my 18m old on Thursday. My life flashed before my eyes several times,” one mom wrote.

Another added, “I COULD NOT AGREE MORE. It’s no longer a vacation, it’s a trip to as close to hell as you can get
