Shock footage has been captured showing a woman being punched in the face by another dog owner in a dispute over their pets.
The incident unfolded in a quiet suburban park in Lane Cove, on Sydney‘s lower north shore, last Tuesday.
The video showed a woman wearing a black jacket locked in an argument with another woman wearing an orange jacket.
The woman in orange accused the other woman’s dog of biting her pet.
‘It bit my dog,’ the woman shouted.
The woman in black then appeared to spit at the stranger before she was punched in the face.
‘Don’t you f****** spit on me,’ the woman in orange yelled.
After a somewhat delayed reaction, the woman in black dramatically fell to the ground.
‘Are you f****g serious?’ the woman in orange yelled.
The punched woman’s partner wearing sunglasses and a backwards baseball cap approached.
‘Your dog bit my dog and your wife just f****** spit on me,’ the woman in orange told him.
The man and the woman in orange exchanged words while standing over the woman in black who was still on the ground.
‘Your dog bit my dog and she just f****** spit on me,’ the woman in orange repeated.
‘She spit on me.’
The video then cuts out. It is unclear if the woman in black suffered any injuries.
A NSW Police spokesman told Daily Mail Australia no reports had been made over the incident.
He said any party involved can contact their nearest police station.
