Six-time NBA All-Star DeMar DeRozan is reportedly finalising a deal to sign with the Sacramento Kings next season.

According to ESPN, the 34-year-old free agent guard will join the Kings in a three-year, AU$99 million sign-and-trade.

The Chicago Bulls will reportedly acquire guard Chris Duarte, two second-round draft picks and cash as part of the deal, while forward Harrison Barnes will move to the San Antonio Spurs.

DeRozan, who turns 35 next month, has been at Chicago since 2021, averaging 24 points, 4.3 rebounds and 5.3 assists last season.

In Sacramento, he will join forces with All-Star guard De’Aaron Fox, All-Star centre Domantas Sabonis and promising young forward Keegan Murray.

The move also has ramifications for Australia’s Josh Giddey, who was traded to the Bulls last month, potentially getting more court time at his new franchise.
